BASIC ISSUES RELATED TO THE MEASUREMENT OF SIZE AND PARTICLE SIZE DISTRIBUTION

Abstract

This article takes the form of a discussion. It presents problems concerning the determination of particle size and average diameter. The particles were analysed as the dispersed phase in various systems, including colloidal. It describes the basic methods for the measurement of the particle size and the advantages and disadvantages of these methods.
